Owen (Kodi Smit-McPhee) does have a problem in socializing. Because always be a victim of bullying Owen prefers to be alone rather than play with her peers. We met Abby (Chloe Moretz), Owen found a similarity in self this little girl. Did not take long for them to be friends even if it turns out Abby keep a secret unknown Owen.
As well as Owen, Abby also had no friends. In fact Abby is much more extreme than Owen.
